Description

Camoline® Nikon Replacement Foot NRF182QD is the FIRST Modular Replacement foot with additional features like Dual Safety Stops, Quick Disconnect Socket & an Anti-slip handle.

These can be used with any Arca-style quick release clamp compatible with Arca-swiss, Wimberley, Markins, RRS, Kirk, Arcatech, Leophoto, Jobu Design, Benro, Sirui & Nest to name a few. It  features open-ended double dovetail design that allows to attach accessories like the flash bracket, Lens support system & more from other manufactures. They are made from 6061 Aerospace grade Aluminium Alloy which is known for its strength, light weight and excellent corrosion resistance properties. The foot is anodized to give good surface protection & aesthetic appeal. In addition, the plate edges are contoured to avoid injury while handling. For mounting on a lens foot a stainless steel 1/4-20″ & 3/8-16″ thread screw is used. It is supplied with stainless steel fasteners which are corrosion resistant.

The QD Socket enables carrying the equipment securely with our QD Side Sling Strap & that leaves both your hands free to take any support while trekking or walk thru challenging terrain. The QD Side Sling Strap is fast & secure way to carry the Lens & Camera System. It is rated for 200kgs load.

Some collared, telephoto lenses have a foot that can be removed. If your lens has this option, choose one of our foot replacements instead of a lens plate. A replacement foot with built in dovetail grooves is lighter, lower in profile, and provide the best possible stability for your lens. Camoline replacement foots are precision machined from solid Aerospace grade aluminum and are fully compatible with most Arca-swiss compatible quick-release system. NOTE: The balancing of your complete “SETUP” (Camera, Lens, TC, Battery grip , lens cover, rain cover etc.) on a HEAD to it’s CoG ( Center of Gravity) greatly depends on which type & make of HEAD the SETUP is mounted on & therefore you may have to move the Replacement foot in the Clamp towards the front or rear. However, if you still can’t achieve the balance , we suggest you try moving the POST  to another pocket on the PLATE.

1. To remove the POST on the foot, use the M4 Allen wrench that comes with the foot. Please remember the Orientation of the Locking Plate when removing & reinstalling it back.
2. To install the NRF182, use all the four original Nikon screws and secure the CAMOLINE foot to the lens collar.
3. If your mounting screws loosen over time, consider using a drop of medium threadlocker, such as Anabond 113 or Loctite 242 for better security.
