It’s flat base gives exceptional stability on any surface, be it Sandy Beach, Shallow Water, Dessert, Grassland or Plain. It also greatly reduces shooting fatigue for different genres of photography, from WILDLIFE to MACRO, LANDSCAPES & ASTRO too!
The Modular design provides a reversible threaded stud 3/8″-1/4″ . So, one can now mount practically any head – Gimbal, Pan & Tilt, Ball, Geared, Video or a humble QR Clamp for ultra low ground clearance !
One can use the SKIM-POD as a steady support for any lens & camera combinations. It is made from Aerospace grade Aluminum Alloy which is rust proof and lightweight. The SKIM-POD includes Dual Carabiner for ease of carrying. And along with it a safety disk & a SS Tool to ease mounting & removal of accessory.
